Focus Aviation is awarded aircraft remarketing contract by Air Jamaica
Focus Aviation is pleased to announce that it has been appointed by Air Jamaica as exclusive worldwide remarketing agent for the sale of two A320-200 aircraft. The aircraft (MSN 624, 626) have been at Air Jamaica since delivery in 1996/7, are both CFM56 powered and are available immediately.

Air Jamaica operates a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft and is one of the principle airlines based in the Caribbean. The airline is currently going through a major period of restructuring in order to improve the airline’s financial and competitive position, before divestment or partial divestment by the Jamaican government. Part of this project is to reduce fleet size and, at the same time, increase unit productivity by 25%. The sale of these two aircraft will directly support this, as well as provide funds for debt rationalisation.

A proven track record of success and experience in specific aircraft types is a key demand of any client and, in Focus Aviation, Air Jamaica have selected a company well familiar with the A320 family. The company recently managed the sale of multiple A321-200 aircraft and has also previously managed A320-200 counter-seasonal leasing and sales.
