FOCUS AVIATION TO MARKET CRJ100 ER AIRCRAFT
Focus Aviation is pleased to announce that it has been appointed as sole worldwide agent for the sale of two Bombardier CRJ100 ER aircraft currently operated by Brit Air, France. Both aircraft were manufactured in 1995 and have been operated since new by Brit Air.

Brit Air, which was founded in 1973, is a subsidiary of Air France having been acquired in October 2000. The airline has a main hub in Lyon and operates a network of regional European routes with over 260 daily flights linking 40 cities in France and Europe including feeding Air France 's main hubs in Paris. Brit Air operates a modern fleet of around 40 aircraft comprising CRJ100s and 700s and Fokker 100s.

The current secondary regional jet market, particularly for the 50 seat CRJ, is one of oversupply with more aircraft likely to be placed on the market as the US carriers continue their fleet rationalisation.

Focus Aviation has been active both as Focus Aviation and formerly as Fortis Prop Jet in the turbo-prop market since the start of the company in 1978. This market has naturally developed to include regional jet aircraft in more recent years. Recent regional jet sales concluded by Focus Aviation involved ERJ-145s in the first free market sale of this aircraft type and Fokker 100s, both transactions completed in difficult trading conditions.

Both CRJs will be available in the Autumn of this year.

Further information on Brit Air can be found at www.britair.com or www.airfrance.com respectively.
