Focus has extensive experience in carrying out the conversion of passenger aircraft to freighters, especially widebodies such as the MD-11
Focus manages all aspects of the conversion process from the removal of passenger interiors to the installation of cargo-loading systems. At the same time, we frequently upgrade the aircraft's weight-carrying and performance capabilities and oversee major maintenance, including airframe and engine overhauls.
During the work, our personnel monitor the quality of the conversion and upgrades, including modification of airframe, engine and avionics if necessary. The company also arranges and audits a series of inspections to ensure that the new freighter will operate in compliance with all necessary international technical and safety requirements.
